Last weekend Jeff and I got to take a day trip to Iowa City to see some of my girlfriends while Bella spent the day with Nana and Boppy. We met up with Bonnie, Melissa and Anne at a tailgate at 9 AM. Some people had been there since 6! Not much has changed in game day tailgating since I was a college student. Except now I'm the 30-something in the dated Iowa sweatshirt at the tailgate. Jeff went to the game (a real stinker!) with Melissa's husband, while the gals headed back to Anne's house to 'watch' the game and catch up. It was a bit of whirlwind, but totally worth it to get to spend some time talking and laughing with friends.

I-O-W-A
